
Jacob is an employment and industrial relations lawyer with experience across private practice, the Fair Work Commission, and the union movement.
He began his career at Arnold Bloch Leibler before working as an Associate at the Fair Work Commission. He then spent five years in-house at the National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) in Victoria, including as Senior Industrial Officer, where he led a team and represented the union in major litigation and enterprise bargaining matters.
Jacob advises on enterprise bargaining, industrial action, unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination, and complex workplace disputes. He has experience appearing in and instructing counsel in the Fair Work Commission, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the Federal Court and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
He is known for his strategic approach, empathy, and commitment to advancing workers’ rights. Jacob brings a unique breadth of experience and perspective to his work.
